love the keyboard and durability of product but it is seriously heavy. i hope i never have to take it with me anywhere.

I've used the Clam Case for a while, then decided to try another case. Out of all the cases I've used, Clam Case is the best for my needs and turns my iPad 3 into a great mobile office. The combination iPad and Clam Case is a bit heavy though and weighs more than my MacBook Air and almost as much as my 13" MacBook Pro. in spite of this, I have a data connection on my iPad that makes it the best device for my mobile office. It's a great combination. When I upgrade to a new iPad Air, I will purchase a new Clam Case as well. Only issues: Weight, "w" key sticks allowing for repeated type, lid doesn't align when closed. Minor issues. Pros: Allows me to get everything I need done while mobile, great iPad protection, looks nice, typing experience is very nice.

The case is great and works well. I'm just wondering why the whole case is not made from aluminum. For the iPad pro there should be an all aluminum case!!!
