I'm a frequent flier that travels in excess of 300,000 miles a year. The time I have on airplanes is essential to my productivity and getting things done. All too often, passengers seated in front of me recline their seat (even in First Class) which renders my laptop unusable. In that spirit, I purchased the ClamCase+ for iPad Air 2 with the backlit keys to help me be more effecient when traveling. This keyboard case is phenomenal. It is lightweight compared to its competitors, the keys are responsive and the ability to use the case as a stand for consuming content, is second to none. Although the case is relatively expensive compared to others in this segment, it is an excellent product that I recommend for others that need similar mobile solutions.

Everything about the ClamCase+ feels thoughtful and elegant. The new metal lower case feels solid and looks professional. The plastic is so perfectly matched to the metal it doesn't look or feel like plastic. It looks and feels like the whole case is of a single material and unified construction. The old sharp edges have been replaced by beautiful curves that look great and feel smooth to the touch.
It looks fantastic open or closed. The new cutouts provide better and smarter access to ports. The keyboard feels even better than the old one, like a full laptop keyboard.
The ClamCase+ so rugged I think nothing off tossing it onto the bed or sofa. Not something I'd ever do with a MacBook.
The new hinge feels solid and smooth. And it's surprising how valuable using the ClamCase+ as a stand is. Have my iPad available at a glance on either my desk or on the sofa next to me turns it into the perfect second screen for reference or entertainment.
I couldn't decide whether to buy a MacBook or an iPad. The ClamCase+ provided the perfect, elegant solution to my dilemma.
The ClamCase+ turns my iPad into the business laptop I need it to be by day. When I'm done working, I just pop my iPad out and use it as the entertainment device I love.

So far I am very happy with this case. I'm pretty picky with the design of stuff like this. I had the pro before this and had a couple of complaints. It only came in white and I have a grey iPad, so it never looked right. Also the charging and headphone holes weren't large enough for anything but Apple chords. This version addressed both of those complaints. Haven't even used the backlit function yet, but I'm sure I'll like using it in low light conditions, too. Great job!

There! Now it is perfect!!!
The pre-backlit ClamCase was good but it was lacking without the backlit functionality. I have tried other backlit options on the market but they just did not hold up: either they were flimsy, or didn't work well, or both.
I purchased the backlit new version the day I got the email to announce its release and am so happy I did. It is the same great looking, sturdy case but with a smart backlit addition. It feels so much like a laptop that I find myself looking for the touchpad underneath the spacebar occasionally.
Great job ClamCase! You made us wait for it, but it was well worth it. Thanks.
